Always match the coil or pod to your exact device model. For example, Vaporesso XROS pods only fit XROS devices. Check your kit name on the device itself or packaging, then search for that model on our site. Using incompatible coils or pods will not work and may damage your device.

MTL (mouth-to-lung) coils are designed for a tighter draw, similar to a cigarette, and work best with higher nicotine or nic salts. DTL (direct-to-lung) coils allow more airflow and produce larger clouds, typically used with lower nicotine and higher wattage devices.

Most vape coils last between 5 and 14 days depending on usage, wattage, and the type of e-liquid used. Sweet or dark e-liquids tend to shorten coil lifespan, while vaping within the recommended wattage range helps extend it.

A burnt taste usually happens when the coil wasn’t primed properly, the wattage is too high, or the pod ran low on e-liquid. Always let a new coil soak for 5–10 minutes before vaping and start at the lower end of the recommended wattage.

To extend coil life, prime new coils before use, avoid chain vaping, keep your pod topped up, and use the correct wattage. Using high-quality e-liquids also helps reduce premature coil burnout.

Many pods are refillable and allow you to use your preferred e-liquid, including nic salts and shortfills. Some systems use prefilled pods, which are replaced once empty. Always check the product description for refillable or prefilled compatibility.
