How Does Vaping Work?
A vape device typically consists of the following components:
- Battery: The power source for your device, which can be rechargeable or disposable.
- Coil: A small metal wire that heats up when the battery is activated, vaporizing the e-liquid.
- Tank or Pod: The container that holds the e-liquid. In some devices, the tank is refillable, while others use pre-filled pods.
- E-Liquid: A liquid mixture usually composed of propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG), flavorings, and nicotine. This is what gets vaporized and inhaled.
When you press the button on your vape or inhale (depending on the type of device), the battery powers the coil, which heats the e-liquid to produce vapor. This vapor is then inhaled, delivering nicotine and flavor.
